"The law enforcement theory is that you get a couple of (sex offenders) together, they may plan to take advantage of their natural interests," said criminal specialist Anthony Ashe.

What an idiot. No wonder law enforcement is so screwed up in this country.
What does a criminal specialist do, anyway? Specialize in being a criminal?

Ott alleges he suffered immediate emotional distress and physical ailments as a result of his name being published.

now mr ott, we all know they only did that for informational purposes only and to protect the children. How could you get so upset over doing your part. the state thinks you should be proud to be listed there as it shows your commitment to protecting the children(sarcasm/off)

His name remained on the site for another day until, with the help of the office of Sen. Tom Torlalkson, the department removed it.

I find it interesting that he is being given aide by a senator. He actually has a pretty decent chance of winning this case and if he does it may open the door for RSO's to file suit against all registries as being punitive in nature. Or am I just dreaming and reading all this wrong?
