Romans 7:14-16. For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin. For that which I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. But if I do the very thing I do not wish to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that it is good.
Heavenly Father, here I go again! Why is life so complicated? Why do we individually argue with ourselves? Why are we so mixed up all the time? At least I am, why? Yes, I know, from Galatians Chapter V we are both flesh and spirit. But why do the two have to be so opposite to each other? Okay, I know because You make it so clear at the beginning of Genesis. Yes, I know, we were spirits before we were born and we are spirits long after we die. Okay, so we were with You at Creation and we will be with You at the end of the age. But, this whole thing caused Orolan to struggle now for nine years. I still don't understand You fully God. Why in his struggle did You make the prodigal son have to eat sty slop? And why did you have to make Gomer get involved with Harlotry before Hosea's love could save her? Yes, I know in the beginning You gave those from Creation to the flood a perfect environment and they didn't appreciate it. They too stooped to the flesh. So You had to teach us how to sppreciate whatever lot in which we find ourselves. Father, you know me. You know how I always have more and more questions about everything. I am like Thomas. But another question, Father, why did I have to dream of Debra with a terribly marred face in prison garb with a Bible in her hand. And she was up in front of young women teachers at what looked like a teachers' convention. I definitely don't understand that. Why the terribly marred face? Why couldn't you save and use her with her present face? I know, Father, I need to better understand the Spirit, but ...I ..never mind! Oh please, Father, get my mixed up head on straight in Jesus' name. Thank You. Amen.
