A 38-year-old Brownie leader was jailed Saturday morning after being charged by village police with having sexual contact with four girls. Marlene M. Herne, 113 Main St., was arrested on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of aggravated sexual abuse, four counts of forcible touching and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. The charges are the result of a two-week-long investigation that began with a report from an elementary pupil that was referred by school

Yeah right. She's a woman, probably with children of her own. She'll get a couple years probation and a registration exemption.
