I can tell you that there are individuals that were adjudicated as juveniles that DO appear on the FDLE site.
Correct. If they were adjudicated in another state as a juvenile and required to register in that state then moved to Florida they would be required by FDLE to register as a sex offender. Their picture would only be posted if the senencing state required that as well.
As far as juvs convicted in Florida, the only circumstance I could think of is when a juvi gets juvi sanctions then violates the terms he could possibly get resentenced with adult sanctions. Technically at that point he was sentenced as an adult.
Are there other juvis on the FDLE website that do not fall under the above 2 scenarios? Considering registration in Florida is only required for adults I can't imagine a Judge requiring it for a juvi convicted and sentenced as a juvi - I suppose if a Judge really thought the juvi was a grave threat to society he might or can require registration although I've never seen an example. Can you give us an example of a juvi convicted in Florida who was sentenced as a juvi and placed on the FDLE website?
