The facts here are .....that the courts found the guy guilty of a sex crime.
That's right. The facts are indeed here. He was found guilty, because he did touch the child. No arguing there. Whether or not he knew it was wrong is subject to debate. But the fact also is that he long since had served the sentence that court gave him. And the fact is the locals plastered "child rapist" all over his flyer even though he had never raped a child OR been convicted of raping a child. Any normal person would have been suing somebody. Bul Claxton was not a normal person. He was a man in his 30's with the mental and emotional capacity of a 10 year-old.
A SEX CRIMINAL is a person with unnatural deviated sexual desires for children !!
You're stereotyping. Shall we get into the various stereotypes about people from Kentucky and say they apply to you and your family? I don't think you would like that very much. There are hundreds of thousands of sex offenders who have never touched a child or even thought about it. Maybe you need to get with your state politicians and tell them to get all those sex offenders off the registry who had adult victims? After all, they can't be sex criminals because they don't fit your definition.
If this guy was mentaly ill and needs constant looking after... then his mama was not doing her job as he killed his self,somebody was not watching him !
Watch it now. Don't start blaming parents. Or maybe we need to blame parents for the offenses against their children? After all, if somebody was watching, they wouldn't happen, right? Of course since the parents are doing all the molesting, somebody needs to watch the parents watch the children.

Yes I do. Got a problem with that? You know, I can and do forgive people like you for your very non-Christian attitudes. Because God says I should. I have no problem facing God on Judgement Day. But you, I think you may have a problem when that day comes. You're entirely too vindictive and hateful. Kind of remind me of a Pharisee. Hell is full of them. You'll see. Might get one for a roomie.
