This Mr. Harris has a very dubious background. I found some interesting articles about him online. Nice thing about the internet. If your a fanatical idiot like he apparently is you can't keep it secret.

Here he wants to give the county the right to ban books from the library deemed "unsuitable". Heres a highlight of one of his proposed "banned books":
The debate was spurred by two complaints lodged against "Its Perfectly Normal" by Robie Harris, a sex education book for 9- to 15-year-olds that features frank illustrations and descriptions of the human body and sexuality, including homosexuality, masturbation and abortion.
Oh horror sex ed. What ever will we do. Keep in mind this is in the library and you dont HAVE to read it. Of course if parents do their jobs and teach their kids their morals they wont read it right? Uh huh.....

Like Hitler was as well Commissioner Harris appears to be a right wing religious fanatic who isn't content with having freedom of religion to pray at home and go to church. He's also intent on forcing religion into the Government (so much for separation of church and state). In fact he also started the controversial CHOOSE LIFE license plate debate in Florida as well.
