Well, he's got more guts than I do. I have considered suicide more than once, if fact, I shouldn't even be talking about it now.
My first occurrence was while I was in jail. I was in suicide ward for several months. They put you in a 4' x 10' cell with only a metal bed slab, no clothes, no shower, no priviledges, nothing. They turn the temperature way low so that you shiver all the time. The resident doctor will visit about once a week.
Another time was after my released. I tried several things, but I was too scared to carry it out.
The most recent was when I met someone online and we decided to meet. She was pretty and we started getting along. I told her about my past and she returned with a very bad reaction. She was abused when she was a child. We separated of course, but I became suicidal again.
I have to watch myself very carefully, especially when I get depressed.
I bet that because of the new sex offender laws, suicide may increase. Well, that's one way to get rid of them.
What is sad, that still will not protect potential victims, and the problem will not get solved.
