He says one idea in the senate is a "two strikes" proposal that would mandate a life term for anyone convicted a second time for sexual abuse of a child.
A no-brainer. It took this long for them to figure that one out? Of course some caveats and limitations should be included. I can't advocate a life sentence for somebody who caught an indecent exposure charge 25 years ago and now has a charge for having an anime cartoon on his computer, for example.
"Predatory" sex offenders. As defined in the Wetterling Act.
