The penalty should include paying for the time that was put into this by LE as well.If they just allow this charge they are doing an ijustice to amber alerts program

I agree that she should have to pay restitution to law enforcement for the costs of this particular Amber alert. It's like that college girl in Wisconsin who faked her own kidnapping. She only had to pay a token amount to the police agencies who expended valuable resources to find her. What a disgrace that she didn't have to pay the full amount of restitution to these agencies.
