PEDOPHILES should be jailed for life automatically
Well, I don't quite think it should be automatic. I'd like to see a conviction first. Life sentences on cases where the victims were 12 YOA and under would be appropriate IMO. There's simply no excuse to molest a child and we have no business placing our kids in danger by releasing them. It would only take a few life sentences and maybe a packed wing in a prison to send the message to these perverts that their abuse will not be tolerated. Enough is enough already. As long as we fail to lock 'em up the abuse will go on and on and on....let the cycle roll. NOT!

Now that's a new twist on things;-)
Actually, the survey said "convicted child sex offenders". So that point is moot. Thing is, are they talking about "pedophiles", or are they talking about "child-sex offenders"? The two are not the same. And what is a "child"? A "minor"? Attraction to 16 year-olds is not pedophilia, so are those offenders to be exempt?
The one I loved was this one. We need this here in the USA.
Almost as many people want parents held accountable for their child's offences.
The "almost" refers to the previous statement, where the number was 4 out of 5. So that is "almost" 80%.
Hold those parents responsible for what their kids do. After all, the kids themselves are too immature to make informed and knowing decisions about anything. If 15 year-old Johnny shoplifts a CD from Wal-Mart, put his parents on probation. If he does it again, revoke them and send them to prison.

---those who judge as "gods" should be put in prison next to them... before passing judgement, maybe one should look at an offender from all sides, including the risk factors of re-offending---OH YEAH, thats what the courts do!!!--its called DUE PROCESS of law. Glad we don't leave the law in the hands of the common people, or everyone would be in prison for one thing or another -OR- Swinging by the neck from a tree!
