you're right , silver. It is a big double standard. Is he, or is he not mentally unstable. they need to pick one and stick with it. Are these people getting "sick" while in prison? if so, then maybe we need to hold the state responsible? How far will this go? Will there come a day when a defendant is found not guilty, and the prosecuter still has him committed? Or will they simply decide a trial is not winnable, so they committ him instead, relying on a preponderance of evidence instead of reasonable doubt?
