I disagree. While he has issues, he's no sexual psychopath. The circumstances of his rape offense aren't very different than 90,000 other rapes annually, except for the age of his victim. Not minimizing his offense at all, but what about the other 89,999? Lock them up for life as well?
I don't like the fact he refused treatment, but without knowing the parameters of that treatment, we can't judge. No doubt the therapist is hounding him to admit that he likes to diddle 4 year-olds like all the rest of the "pedophiles" like him. Had I been in such a program, I would have been thrown out as well.
