I thought this article would be interesting to discuss. The article's title and a large part of the article focuses on the alleged hostage taker's status as a child sex offender, though his status as such really doesn't appear relevant. It would have been nice if the reporter at least mentioned whether the victim(s) were relatives of the man or his wife or at least mentioned he tried to find out details, but couldn't. Unfortunately, the online registry shares very little info. - here's a search for his last name (first name is Joseph). Maryland search for Lambert I have to suspect that adding "sex offender" to the article title and focusing so much attention on his SO status is just a blatant attempt to attract readers' attention.
