Can you tell if Jake has committed any additional offenses in the past 20 years? His feedback on Cary leads me to believe he has not reoffened.
His registration information isn't available online, but from what I can gather it seems he was convicted of molesting his then 3 year old daughter and served 5 years in prison and was released in 1991. According to this USA Today article about him:
He says he was haunted not only by what he did to his daughter, but what he did to teenage boys he preyed on, although he was never caught..
I don't know if those offenses were in the last 20 years (which I realize is probably not what you were getting at), I assume he hasn't been convicted since then and though none of us can be certain he hasn't reoffended since his release, it is a possibility. He seems sincere and to be doing good so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. In any case, I wasn't implying that his opinion isn't valid because he's a convicted child molester, but I found it odd that it wasn't mentioned.
