The article mentions race, but then never gives details about the race of the accused and the victim. I did some research and it appears that the male was black and the female was white. Read the article and judge for yourself whether he got a fair sentence.

I dont think race was so much a part in it. It looks like an overzealous prosecutor at work. I wonder why the jury wasn't allowed to here the sentencing outcomes?
