It's sad that after being convicted of molesting a boy, admitting to molesting others (who never reported the crimes incidentally) and serving time, one or more of his sons would help him to become a foster parent, presumably to have someone around to molest. Later in the article it states "The boy told officials he was abused by Butt, but those child sex abuse charges were dropped last year because the boy's story was judged to be unreliable. The boy's mother said her son told her Butt tried to touch him several times while he was sleeping. The boy also told county officials that Butt showed him images of child pornography. An investigation found that Butt had more than 400 child porn images on his computer. He was sentenced to at least 3 years in state prison for possessing the images." Obviously we don't know all of the facts, but it seems as though this is a case where he probably did sexually abuse the child, but wasn't convicted for the crime. Given his history I bet it isn't so "unreliable" now. What I really wonder is why after all those experiences he would cover for his dad like that. The only thing I can think of is if the son himself is into boys now as a result of what he went thru and the dad was trying to get another boy for them both to abuse. Real sick either way. Silverthorne, your theory sounds realistic. The son(s) had to know what dad intended. Either that or they're the most gullible, clueless sons around.
