"However, Belmont County Assistant Prosecutor Helen Yonak had a different opinion on the ruling. Yonak said those convicted of sexually-oriented crimes who have served their sentences were again being punished by being forced to register. She said it would not be constitutional to enforce registration for those who have served their full sentences. "
Very correct. If someone served their time and rejoined society - to show up 10 years later and say "your a predator" and paste his name all over the place clearly is "punishment".
